Mimi is the artist, and Sean is her muse. Awkward Adventures began as an art blog featuring the many crazy ideas that Sean inspired Mimi to draw. By the time they started going out, they decided drawing comics was more fun. Most of the strips are autobiographical, except where otherwise noted (or completely ridiculous).
Awkward Adventures updates twice a week, every Monday and Friday.


Travis is Sean's friend and mentor, known for his sagely advice, good conversation and his love of cars and hip hop. Mimi likes to have him around in case she gets stranded on the ice planet Hoth and needs a pack animal to cut open and crawl inside.
Derek is Sean's most hilarious friend, always ready for rediculous dialogue and a good time. Their interests and thought processes overlap so much that Derek used to think of Sean as his Tyler Durden, Sean is slightly more evil. Mimi likes him, too, after getting past all the fluid and hair.

Cloud was once an adorable little grey kitten. Sean, knowing that one day he would be the most badassed feline on the face of the planet, gave him the name Cloud and the proper training he needed to become what he is today.
