![]() Buttersafe! This weekend Sean, Nik, Bob and I all went to the Buttersafe Expo. If you don’t read Buttersafe, probably you should go do that right now. Here’s our favorite. We met all kinds of cool people with cute glasses, also people who go to (or went to) UC Berkeley! just liek me. Here is everybody. Can you find us? here are some hints: Sean and I are the nerds in matching outfits, Nik cut his hair and shaved his beard, and Bob is really short. While I’m linking to things, if you haven’t already seen it, there’s a new comic being hosted on natural20s.com, Thoughtpennies. It is drawn by one of my friends at school, and I make an appearance here! Tirumari is still new to the whole webcomic thing, but he is learning fast, and you can help him out by providing moral support. Seriously, though, monkeys? they are kind of weird. |
![]() The Best Defense Is a Good Offense Luckily no one was injured and everyone ate a lot of pizza. We even managed to make it to the expo without getting lost and enraged, thanks to Bobert’s expert navigator/co-piloting skills. Ray, Alex, Arthur are even better in person, both their and our own awkwardness complimented eachother nicely. Both Ray and Alex are so incredibly sarcastic that it actually circles back again to the point of sincerity again… or they are just nice people. I would like to thank Arthur, Ankor(probably spelled wrong here), and Leslie for bravely engaging our group of closed and awkward antisocials and bringing us into the group. I would also like to apologize to Arthur because every single one of us wanted to have sex with you, making things much more awkward than they really needed to be. |

Haha, I bring my stuffed tiger to keep me safe. Also, this reminded me of the following Girls With Slingshots comic (if you don’t read it, you should): http://www.daniellecorsetto.com/GWS024.html.

I had no idea you went/go to Berkeley! As an alum, I now find this comic even more awesome than before!
(p.s. The comic was still totally awesome before I read this one).

Mimi, it’s just a little ironic when you say Bob is so short, but then you’re two inches shorter…

Man. Not making it to BSX Pinole was bad enough already. But then you tell me I missed you guys too, so upsetting. If only I weren’t on the other side of the country.

I just realized that reads “free pizza” and not “face pizza” in the comic.
Uh…

Buttersafe is a pretty neat comic. I don’t regularly read it, but I do sometimes browse through the archives when I’m bored.
