 FINALLY I need to get used to drawing comics again. Anyway, this is officially the comic’s anniversary, I think, but we just celebrated ours, so it’s not really a big deal. In addition to updating regularly again, I’m working on an art page which I hope to finish before Christmas. I signed up for a class next semester, “MATH 136: Incompleteness and Undecidability.” The description is just “Functions computable by algorithm, Turing machines, Church’s thesis. Unsolvability of the halting problem, Rice’s theorem. Recursively enumerable sets, creative sets, many-one reductions. Self-referential programs. Godel’s incompleteness theorems, undecidability of validity, decidable and undecidable theories.” It sounds pretty cool to me, though I don’t really know what all of that means. Also, before I forget, I just deleted over 400 spam comments with text like “Christmas boob” and such. I know that I deleted two comments that were real (sorry seanfury and TJ!!) and I’m worried that I accidentally deleted others. So… If I deleted your comment, MY BAD. You can post them again if you want. Unless they are about pedophilia, I will probably delete those on purpose. |
 OH YES Finals took quite a toll on the both of us. Unfortunately you, the reader, take second place to Mimi’s career. I don’t really have a future but school still takes precedence. But Awkward Adventures is beginning to sputter back to life! We plan to make up for our long absence with a slew of updates and maybe, possibly, a special edition Cloud origins series. I know how you kids love your cloud comics, so get excited! |

I actually just took a class called Computability and Logic that hit pretty much all of those topics. It was pretty awesome. I think you’ll like it.

On the spam problem- I know WP defaults with Akismet, but then you still have that massive queue of possible spam to sort through. Get a plug in called BC Spam Block- it works wonders! You won’t need Akismet at all and you’ll never see another piece of spam unless it’s put there by a real live person. If you can;t find the plug in I can email a copy to you.
