[sketch] Introducing Derek

 Noodly Appendages Sean told me he was going to introduce me to his friend Derek, and I guess my mind was running wild with the possiblities, because I dreamed about meeting him before it happened. In the dream, Sean, Derek and I went out for lunch, and everything was completely normal except for the fact that Derek’s arms were long and noodly. He got tangled up in everything, everywhere we went. Sean would sigh, and shout “DAMMIT DEREK, I CAN’T TAKE YOU ANYWHERE,” while Derek tried desperately to get himself untangled. The next day I made the mistake of telling them about this dream. It was awkward, since I was just meeting Derek, but it wasn’t like this was something I could have just kept to myself. He had to know. There may be a flash version of this later. I hope you like Derek as much as I do, because he’ll be showing up again. |
 RUBBER JOHNNY Sometimes Mimi tells people things she shouldn’t. Not because they are wrong, but because she is basically asking to be ridiculed. So when Mimi told me about her dream of Derek with noodly appendages my hand was forced. All of that day I mocked her and her sub conscience. Poor Mimi just wanted to be friends but now she is something more, a running joke that will probably last longer than she will. This is one joke that I have yet to let go and it’s not really even funny anymore just mean. If you are confused as to why I would make fun of Mimi for dreaming of a man with noodly arms, than thank whatever god you pray to and never go to Japan… EVER!… also you should probably leave the internet… NOW! |
