![]() Trained in Flipper-to-Flipper Combat Every so often, Sean would send me a message out of the blue with a request for something like this. I would then put down whatever I was working on to complete it, because if I didn’t do it right then, I probably never would. SHUKA turned out pretty well, especially when compared to other spur of the moment drawings I did. There was a whole series of manta ray pictures that I had to delete before anyone could see. Here’s Shouka about to eat a chubby kid. nom nom nom. |
![]() SHUKA SHUKA is the equivalent of a the Chuck Norris joke except it doesn’t suck and is still funny. Shouka is the daughter of Sharkane, a half orca half Tyrannosaurus, she is 16 feet long and 4,700 pounds and easily earns her title “Killer Whale” by often devouring fans who come to see her shows. Basically SHUKA is the badass of the sea, and she doesn’t even live in the sea. The proper spelling of the name is actually “Shouka”, but spelling things the correct way isn’t really fresh or cool, also the correct pronunciation is “ssssssssssssssSHUKA *(pause)*(narrow eyes)* THE KILLER WHALE”. So now I know why SHUKA is funny, but how do I help other people understand? How do I tell a SHUKA joke? It is simple if you follow these easy to follow instructions: Step 1. Enter a room (preferably with people inside of it). Step 2. Use the correct pronunciation of SHUKA as seen above. Step 3. Add some personal style, own your joke. Some examples that have received good results are: Waving your arms wildly, choking the receiver of the joke, and weeping uncontrollably. Good luck and have fun! |
