If bears could fly…

 Confused and Enraged Something interesting produced by a green/blue Magic deck is a grizzly bear with the power of flight. Sean had me sketch this at a Magic the Gathering 10th edition booster daft. There were a couple other sketches of bears I did (all with mysteriously drifting eyes), including a bear attempting to be angelic and seductive. If I can find those, I’ll post them. |
 Flying Bear: 1000 Years of Romance This is one of my favorite creations. The reason I still laugh when I see this is the bear’s story. Just imagine with me a normal bear. The bear inexplicably gains wings with the power of flight. Not furry bear wings, that would be cool though, but beautiful angelic wings of pure white and soft as silk. The bear has no idea what is going on and starts to fly. At first the bear is terrified and tries to hold itself to the ground. However, the bear’s fear quickly changes into rage. “WHY THE FUCK AM I FLYING!”. It yells and curses everything (also known as growling and roaring) it sees as it tries to grab onto trees to hold itself down. As it flies higher it gets more and more pissed until it eventually tires itself out and falls asleep. When it awakes still flying it is instantly enraged once more. This cycle continues till the end of days. |
